I’m a current VMRA employee. How do I refer someone?

We love referrals and take pride in the fact that many of our employees came to work here on the recommendations of other VMRA employees! For questions on the specific referral process and bonuses, please contact Human Resources. Please let the person you are referring know that on the VMRA application there is a question asking if he or she has been referred, and by whom.

How long does it take to complete the application?

The average time to complete the application and upload a resume is approximately 10 minutes. The system will help you by auto-populating information from your resume into the application, however, it is a software system and may not pull the information exactly the way you want it to appear. So, we encourage you to take your time, double check the application, and make sure you’re happy with the results.

I’m having trouble completing my application. Who should I contact?

How will I know VMRA has received my application?

After your application is submitted, an auto-generated confirmation email will be sent to the email address you entered. Please be sure to check spam folders if you don’t receive it right away.

How can I be alerted to new jobs I might be interested in?

At the bottom of the VMRA Careers page, you’ll find the Career Alert where you can submit your email and name to be notified whenever new jobs are posted at VMRA.

Will my interview be in-person?

The format for an interview can vary depending on where we are in the process, schedules, and the candidate’s location. As a consequence, interviews could be done by phone, virtually/online, or in person. Whichever makes the most sense. For safety reasons though, we ask that if you’re experiencing any COVID symptoms, have had a recent exposure, or a positive COVID-19 test, that you inform us if you are scheduled with an in-person interview, and we will gladly reschedule.

Are there any pre-employment requirements once I have accepted an offer from VMRA?

Yes. Safety is one of our top priorities at VMRA, so every offer is contingent is upon the satisfactory completion of:

  • referencing
  • education verification
  • a drug test (hair follicle)
  • a pre-placement health screening
  • a criminal background check

The cost of each is the expense of VMRA and more specifics would be provided to you during the interview process.
